Does the male-to-female RJ-45 connection show signs of water ingress and corrosion? I ask because if it does, I would address that before opening the camera itself, as that can present a new issue if water has not entered the camera.

Thanks no, everything looks good on the plug. I ask because if it does, I would address that before opening the camera itself, as that can present a new issue if water has not entered the camera. VERY possible...which is why it's the last bullet in my post regarding waterproofing the pigtail and the connections here.
