What exactly is it on a Lorex camera system? It came set at 30 default. I've Googled it and have gotten many different answers so I'm not sure?

Anti-Dither = motion detection time to record after first event is detected ( any other motion/action detected in this interval will be recorded in the same clip )
have a look here...

What do you think anti-dither should be then? It was on 30 by default. I put it to zero because I thought post record was the same

If you want to record all movement detected in the same clip as long as possible you should use a longer anti-dither (30sec) ; after no more move it is detected camera will still record a time period defined on Post Record.
Read my post linked and adjust your timers based on what scene you record: inside/outside and close/far.
