Any advice for new motion settings

I am still running a month old 64-but version, but have been eyeing the latest update with revised motion settings. I'm looking for some feedback and recommendations about the motion settings, so I can decide whether its worth installing now.

My only complaint with the existing motion detection is that I a get a bunch of shadow related triggers, particularly in lower fall/winter sun situations and with tree shadow movements during high sun.
 
The new version has really fixed the major issues I had with trees casting shadows outside. Yes I had to tweak settings, but I'm pretty happy now.
Most of my cameras are set at around 200 object size, and 20 min contrast. Object detection on, and cancel shadows on.

I'm quite happy with the changes.
 
Thanks for sharing. Its interesting that you have Object Detection on. In the past I thought the advice was not to use it?

Everything else stable with that release so far?
