looking for a dome camera, not turret, like the 5442 at around 4 or 6 or 8mp that has good low light capability. anyone know any reasonably priced like the 5442?

5442 is available in dome camera version.
Even more - there are two lines - one standard with aperture F/1.8:
and one in chassis and optics from Ultra line (very bright open aperture F/1.2):
There are also variants with 8-32mm zoom (Z4).
Dome cameras are not so popular - turrets are better / less problematic.
Buying Dahua/HIK cams on aliexpress is simply asking for problems. in 99% cases it will be cameras for Chinese market with hacked English firmware. No ability to firmware upgrade (with western firmware), no compatibility with western Dahua NVR's.
