Any risk on updating VTO3211D-P2 & VTH5221DW?

I just discovered with the toolbox that both devices are on FW version 1.000.0000.0.R
On the international Dahua site I found newer versions of the FW for these devices, DH_VTOXXXXD-G_MultiLang_PN_SIP_V4.400.0000000.9.R.20200326.zip & DH_VTHX421H_MultiLang_SIP_V4.410.0000000.4.R.20200221

Is it safe to just upgrade or are there risk involved which are more then normal when upgrading the firmware?

See this site for more actual firmware files for VTO/VTH.

Hi @riogrande75, I had a look but the firmware on that site is even older then the ones on the Dahua site.

I do my best, to keep the site up to date. Off course, I do not have direct contact to Dahua to get the latest files, I just poll some distributor's sites. But as mentioned in that thread, if someone finds newer firmware, pls. tell me to update the thread.
