My Ezviz doorbell used to pop up notifications on my Moto G 5G Plus without me first having to unlock the phone. When I switched to a Samsung Galaxy A54 (running Android v13) it no longer does so. According to Ezviz support: "it's normal as we changed the feature in the updated EZVIZ app. So the doorbell call will become a notification if app is running in background and phone screen is locked."
I've asked them whether it's possible to revert the app to a previous version, but haven't had a reply yet (after 2 weeks).
