Used the camera for a very short time. Wasn't happy so sold it to a friend of mine.. But if I remember correctly there is a feature of Power levels. One is high power and the other is low power and low power isn't designed to be used in cold weather. SO I would log into the WebUI, Look at the setup menu for the power and confirm if you are on High Power.. Also sorry I have so many cameras it is hard to remember all of them or the use of some I no longer have. I mean I wish I would have copied the menu down it would make it easier. . However there might be an area like Environment control and there might have been a heater Auto. I know all my cameras I have the heater setup for Auto. At times I forget to turn them on Auto after the summer because I turn them off just to be safe lol. But at times I forget and I have to turn on the heater and the IRs to help with faster melting of ICE.. Anyway High power output. It will require more power for the camera. But it does control the heater as well. Let me know if I was in the right ball park. I have not seen the camera since late April and I have messed with so many other cameras that I forget all functions over time from cameras that I don't use often. Hope that is helpful.
