I primarly have Dahua camera's, and I got myself an Amcrest IP2M-844E model which looks very similar to the IPC-HDW1220S that I have.
The specs line up exactly.
Has anybody flashed a Dahua firmware onto an Amcrest camera before, when it appears that they are the same? (just with an Amcrest firmware installed.)
Amcrest hasn't updated the firmware on this model since 2016, and there have been some nice enhancements since then.
I could always give it a try, but I would rather not brick a working camera just out of curiosity
