I though I would check it out, but after install my antivirus (bitdefender) removed a good chunk of the installed files.

I though I would check it out, but after install my antivirus (bitdefender) removed a good chunk of the installed files.
This type of software will not pass many antivirus algorithms. Part of the algorithm is how many people are using it and in the big scheme of things, the software for these types of cameras just do not have the critical mass to register in some antivirus software programs.
You can use a multiscanner that can show you it is safe.
You have to tell it to continue anyway.
