I upgraded 2 of my 2032 from 5.2.0 to 5.2.5 using hiktools but I'm getting chinese languages on the GUI. If I'm not mistaken, the method is to modify an "english" firmware to work on chinese cameras and I don't think I have the correct 5.2.5 firmware. Been searching for hours on the forum but most of what I found are offline and no longer available.
anyone have a copy of 525 or 528 english firmware?

What you need to do is the mtd hack, on a 5.20 (original fw) this will allow you cameras to load the newer firmwares in English without any issues.
