Anyone heard of "Shodan" to view other people's cams?

That site indexes everything, not just cameras. And in many cases it hardly matters if you changed the password because a lot of cameras have ridiculous vulnerabilities. Ways a person could bypass the need for authentication to view the video or worse.

Yep, first thing I do at the router when I add a cam is to block it from the internet at the router. The only thing that gets out for viewing is Blue Iris.

I had a look and was a bit shocked at what people have exposed. I found a lot of nanny cams, cams in bedrooms etc... Often they are wifi cams and you can see the wifi passwords. I found a local cafe, and all I'd need to do it pop down there and I could be on their network. I found one guy who had 8 foscams in his house and I could see in everyroom but the bathroom.

If I found any I changed the camera network ID to "change your password".
