anyone know main difference between the sony imx322 and imx222 sensor?
is one better or newer than the other?

good to know because i ordered HS-SCB415IP-V10-E (IMX322)
but in the final invoice i see DM-SCB415IP-V10-(E) (IMX222)
shame on them!

IMX322 is in very short supply apparently and IMX222 they had too many from last year when IMX322 came out. So I guess people will be using this in cameras whilst the shortage goes on.

I mean, if you've ordered IMX322 and get IMX222 then ask for some money back. It's not worth sending back though the difference isn't that big.

IMX323 should be available soon. No real performance gains over 322 but it'll be cheaper.

But in true Sony style it's not pin-for-pin compatible so it'll take time to come to cameras.

I doubt any will be available until October at the very earliest.
