If it were 3x 4MP with 1/1.8" sensors I'd be all over it

And I wonder if you can set IVS rules for each sensor?
Does it take up 3 channels on an NVR/Switch?
Cheap ass DWDR

And theres this:?
Channel 1-3:
Main stream: 1920 × 1080@(1–25 fps)
sub stream: 704 × 576@(1–25 fps)
*The values above are the max. frame rates of each stream; for multiple streams, the values will be subjected to the total encoding capacity.

Focal Length Channel 1: 3.6 mm
Channel 2: 12 mm
Channel 3: 25 mm
Max. Aperture Channel 1: F1.6
Channel 2: F2.0
Channel 3: F2.8
Field of View Channel 1: H: 100.4°; V: 85.9°; D: 46.7°
Channel 2: H: 29.5°; V: 25.7°; D: 14.4°
Channel 3: H: 14.9°; V: 13°; D: 7.4°
Iris Control Channel 1-3: Fixed
Close Focus Distance Channel 1: 1.1 m (3.61 ft)
Channel 2: 8.6 m (28.22 ft)
Channel 3: 19.6 m (64.30 ft)

I've been lusting over this one for some time, BUT no IVS on channel 2, the close in fixed 3.6mm lens

I need something to get face ID preferably in color, under the streetlight from this location and still cover the close in choke point

Has potential for driveways and corridors around businesses especially (likely to be a bit expensive). I have to question if the product dimensions are accurate (specs for new Dahua products sometimes have errors). The dimensions and image just don't seem to quite match.

I wrote about this cam 2 weeks ago, there is demo video from Polish Dahua channel:

It generates 3 separate channel streams...
IVS is working on each channel, but it looks like the configuration is shared for all 3 channels (You draw IVS rules on wide view and camera rescales the ones which fits into the second/third zoom/telezoom view)..

Firmware is based on riemann - so it's the same SOC (and video processing) as in 5xxx-S3..
Frame rate is limited to 25fps..
All AI functions (except IVS) are not present (no SMD, no AI Encoding, no AI SSA, no AcuPick, no VideoMetaData)..
It looks like they use the SOC at maximum power capacity (3 separate channels, 3 IVS)..

Exactly the same comment I have to make as on the other thread for this camera :).

Next Dahua need to stitch the video into one video stream.
Make their own version of the Panomera camera.
I want my own Panomera from the Ultra line..... 190MP. ;)

Yes, but Panomera cams starts at 17K Euro :)
Your 190M model is 29K Euro..

Maybe not 190MP, but Dahua from many years have ultra line 32MPx 180 degree cams with 4 rotated vertically sensors..
Field of View: 180 horizontal x 100 vertical (normal 180 cams have something 40-50 vertical)..
Main stream: 8192 × 3840

And there are Hubble series and X-Spans series PTZ with 180/360 degree overview view + PTZ view, which can give similar effect...

I know about all the panoramic series that Dahua does. I know the Dallmeier cameras are expensive!!

Panoramic + PTZ units are cool but not very effective in a stadium.
The stadium I work at has multiple Axis Q6100-E units around the place. Not good at finding an event that happened within the stands.... unless an operator had the PTZ pointed in the right direction at the time. The panoramic channel is barely enough for people seated 40ft away from the camera.
My eyes go square watching hundreds of cameras on the large video wall.

But If @EMPIRETECANDY is willing to sponsor me one of these... I'd love to replace my DH-IPC-PDBW8800-A180 with a much newer one :D.... particularly people counting for my Christmas light show ;).

If we talk about solutions for stadiums..

Panomera cams starts at 32Mpx with 19K Euro price tag and some fancy multi sensor shit..

Axis have normal bullet, 41Mpx with one 4/3 sensor and 21-7 degree horizontal FoV lenses and 5K USD price tag..

I have two more question:
How to display 190MP video feed? 8K monitors/TVs are 32MPx...
As I understand they have specialized VMS software with multiple EPTZ functionality..

How to search for a specific person among the crowd of thousands recorded by this cam??
