About noon the other day my ALPR stopped pinging the AI service.

I think that corresponds to when I updated to 5.9.9.27.

Strangely, I rebooted my CP.AI instance. Rebooted the service.

I get the trigger, but even the AI overlay isn't working.

Strangely, I am getting an object detection request at the CP.AI server every 30 seconds or so. The cameras are not even triggering.

Anyone else see issue with this version?

I had same issue. It started with 5.9.9.25. I never took the time to try to troubleshoot so I just went back to last stable version before that.

Ken got back to me, and if you have a remote server and auto-start is not set it gets confused and doesn't ping the AI. This will be fixed in the next rollout.

I don't have time today, but does anyone with the same issue who didn't roll back their version of BI enable this feature and run some tests?

Or if someone does have it working with the latest version, disable the autostart and reboot and see if you DO get it?

"The issue appears to be that if "auto start/configure" was not set, the remote server was not queried at all, making the software think there was no AI service. I will be changing this for 5.9.9.28.

Thanks

Ken"
