There used to be a setting for web server JPEG quality back before UI3 was made the default web interface. This set the MJPEG quality for the web server, but also the image quality when you pause a video clip in the mobile app and when taking snapshots in the app. It also set the quality of alert images in push notifications.
Since UI3 was integrated, this JPEG quality option has disappeared, and in its place now says that it’s been replaced by the web server streaming configurations.
However, the streaming quality doesn’t seem to affect the snapshot quality. And I can’t find any place to actually set this snapshot quality. I see that it’s grabbed from the mainstream (not the substream), but for some of my cameras the quality is terrible. If I pause a recording in the mobile app, the still image has way more artifacts and is blurrier than the actual paused video frame.
Anyone know of a way to set this snapshot quality nowadays?
