I am new to this site. I have been reading a lot of information here while researching which camera to get and set up.
I have a DS-2CD2335FWD-I. My issue is with the schedules. I have motion set to record to sd card and have the arming schedule set for night time hours. On the Storage recording schedule I have motion set to the same schedule as the motion arming.
Now I added line crossing. I have line crossing arming schedule set for 24 hrs. I get emails and pics just fine. I want it to also record 24 hrs. In order to do this I have to change the Storage recording schedule to 24hrs. When I do this it starts recording motion 24hrs also. Why doesn't the Motion arming schedule control when motion is recorded.
My goal is to record motion only at night and record line crossing 24 hours a day.
With so many locations with schedules on these cameras its hard to figure out which one does what.
