Attempting to add a 3rd Party (IPCAM) camera to a 16 channel Uniview NVR

The IPCAM has a NVC Type of UNIVIEW which led me to believe it would be able to work with a UNIVIEW NVR in ONVIF mode ... when I first add the camera the NVR shows it as connected ... but the moment I attempt to go to live view the camera drops off the list of available cameras ... I also attempted to use RTSP mode ... the NVR shows the camera as Connected in this mode but will not record or show a live view of the camera

www.ipcam.xin appears to be related to this camera but I haven't found an email/support link

ispy loads this camera with no problems but because I have a 4TB configured NVR, was seriously expecting to be able to use the NVR ( I have sent Uniview this question as well but expect they may not help with a 3rd Party camera)

Try this:
log into camera's webGUI and if available, change the cam's ONVIF setting of "NVC type" from "Uniview" to "Normal" and try again to add to the NVR as ONVIF.
