Audio on Hik DS-2CD2542 not working

New to the forum. Ordered a 4K hik DS-2CD2542 and for some reason i cant get audio to work. Anybody else having these issues?

Welcome to the forum! In the video settings, make sure Video and Audio is selected in the dropdown...not just video...

hello, I got DS-2CD2542FWD-IWS as well, I have some strange clicking noise repeating every 5 seconds. I have tried changing audio codecs, room where I am testing camera is completely silent, so I think this is camera (or firmware) issue
