When I go directly to the camera stream and talk directly onto the laptop mic through the browser things sounds nice and clear. However through IVMS-4500 on the phone to the NVR it doesn't do anything. Any suggestions? I have a 7608
Yeah, I have same NVR and same issue... I never really bothered with this though until yesterday when I actually needed audio. I tried all codecs and no luck. My cams are 2432 with 5.2.5 hacked myself firmware.
That's a bummer. I suppose the only way to do this is to have our own DDNS and configure an app to go directly to the camera bypassing the NVR. I tried this on the LAN with IP Cam Viewer and it works fine. HIK really need to fix their $h!t
