Auto tracking cam aimed at the street, good or bad?

I'm considering getting one but I'm concerned about it burning out tracking all the cars that go by during the day.

Any thoughts?

Easiest solution is to not have it track vehicles.

Mine points at the street, but the IVS triggers are only set to track people.
