Auto Tracking while Scanning area possible?

Hello everybody,

I own a SD59230 - so with auto tracking function.
I would like to scan an area and also use the auto tracking function. Is that possible in principle? Unfortunately, when I activate the scan mode, the camera does not detect movement and therefore does not follow the object. In a fixed position it works.

Will not work that way unfortunately.. Needs to be a fixed location.
You could set up a time task to go to different preset locations and have IVS rules for tracking in each preset that would trigger tracking.

I have a auto tracking PTZ, it's not made by dahua, but it also won't allow auto tracking to take over whilst scanning is active. The one thing I did find that worked, you will have to see if it's possible on your dahua camera, Touring (switching between presets). Mine will begin auto tracking if something is seen whilst the camera is sat still in its preset position. Give it a try

Thank you for your answers! Too bad that this does not work. I will test it with the tour mode. I still have a question: In scan mode then probably no motion detection works, right? Or only auto tracking? Thank you!
