The SD5A25XA-HNR will support this feature, correct?

I think they cherry-picked samples to prove their point. Old auto tracking had plenty of examples that looked more or less as good as the 2.0 sample.

Will this work with the 49225XA? My biggest complaint with it is the inability to track people if a tree comes between them and the camera. I've seen examples of it working, but never does for me since I have a thick tree fairly close up.

Looks like auto-tracking will come only for SD5A825XA-XNR, SD5A445XA-XNR, SD5A225XA-XNR. In video 49:23.

Not trying to hijack this thread but does auto tracking work with these cameras using Blue Iris? I thought I read that they only work using the Dahua NVRs.

Andy, This is absolutely a welcome new :D 2.0 Yay Improvement. I am hoping this is going to come as an update for DH-SD8A820WA-HNF & DH-SD8A840WA-HNF Can you please confirm. Fingers crossed :)

@Parley and I will be very happy if this comes as an Update for us :)

I have not updated any f/w for any camera's for 12 months+. Checking to see if this has released. :)
LOL. Hey there good to see you back :) Welcome Back! No this firmware has not come to the PTZs we got I was hoping it does it still do.. :)

Yeah crazy year! My cams have been largely left alone all year. Some of them still not set up to a standard i'm happy with, but thats on me camera are fine.....just no time to mess with them all. You get any new toys during the year?

Oh yea lol lot of em Including a SNC-VB770 LOL also got a 4/3 last month PTZ that is.. and lot more I will get you up to speed with what I have learned over the year Also you may wanna check that openalpr we always wanted. Infact I have a guide up to help you get it up and running if you are interested I can walk you rite thru it as well. it is linked on the original thread
