AX Pro - Door contact- Sounder - issue or design thing?

I recently installed an AX Pro system in an office environment where the customer wants the sounder to go on if a door remains open for a certain period.

I have installed a magnetic door contact and set the sounder's delay to 60 seconds (configured within the sounder settings) and the alarm duration to 20 seconds in the system settings.

Currently, the setup works as intended: if the door remains open for 60 seconds, the sounder activates.
However, the issue I'm facing is that once the door is closed, the sounder continues to run until the timer expires. Is there a setting that would allow the sounder to stop as soon as the door is closed?

I've done extensive research but haven't found a solution. Hopefully, someone can provide some advice.

I managed to that only using DS-Pm1-O1L 12v relay output

Then i made automatization for it. Used wired siren which was connected to that relay.

magnet contact state was triggering my relay(you can add delay), which was triggering the siren.

Depends on the automation, you could trigger to stop exactly when magnet is closed, or add some delay to it.

I dont have configuration, it wasnt on my system.

No, this does not work.

I have explored all the automation configuration.
There is no way we can change the status of relay when the magnet contact closes.
The event types we have are Alarm, Disarm, Arm, Manual, silence alarm, schedule.

Let's assume you set the relay to Latch NO for alarm. The status changes to NO when alarm triggers. How would you change it back to NC? You can't simply based on door closure.

So, to summarize we can not control the siren in Hikvision AX pro based on the Door contact open/close.

I will pull ax pro when i get back from PTO, just to prove how badly wrong you are. Yes it works. You add zone as switch zone and you add it to Partition 2 which wont interfere with normal alarm.

depending on the mc contact, you will arm/disarm partition

Once arm/disarm happens you can add automation to control relay with this arming/disarming

It is an improvisation but it works.

I'm glad that you were adamant about this solution:)

Keyswitch zone was the key.

My requirement was that when employees leave the door opened for a certain time then the siren goes on and then siren stops as soon the door is closed.

So what was happening using Relay and Keyswitch zone was that I was able to achieve the part where siren goes on immediately when the door opens and stops when the door closes.

Explanation :Door opens > Keyswitch zone > Triggers arming or disarming > Relay goes normally closed > Siren connected to the relay goes on
Door closes > Keyswitch zone > Triggers arming or disarming > Relay goes normally open > Siren connected to the relay stops

However, client wanted a delay of 30 seconds in between the door open and siren goes on.

So I used 2 door contacts on the door. ( New zone for this requirement only)

1) Door contact 1- Time out zone - 30 seconds
2) Door contact 2 - Keyswitch zone triggers arming

So, now when the door opens. It waits 30 seconds before the alarm goes on.

As soon as door closes it disarms the zone and the alarm stops.

I really appreciate. your help mate. Thanks a ton :)
