Hi There
just wondering if anyone could help me with fixing a camera that has had water ingress on thru the ethernet port?
Water has gotten thru the plastic sheath of cable down thru to the pins.
I have cleaned all the RJ45 Copper terminals with contact cleaner but looks like there is gunk stuck underneath the pins.
What would be the process to dis-assemble the camera to get behind the back housing of the camera.

Also.. I have Power to camera over PoE, but I have no ethernet activity hense this post

Try some DeOxit D5 spray. Apply it well and liberally, wait several minutes for it to work, then plug in and out several times to clean the contacts.

Axis PTZ's usually come with a specialised connector in the box to ensure waterproofing. Some installers stick to their old ways and may have ignored it.

Was it used ?

The connector wasnt the above one.
I think pin 3 from the righthand side may also be broken. It feels a strangely loose compared to others. There is no spring back into top position after it's been pressed down.
Has anyone got a tear down instruction guide of camera so could potentially check the pcb that connector mates to.
Thanks for the help so far.
Also I'll try using deoxit as soon as I return home next week.
