Hello,
I am trying to set up my B52IR-Z12E-S2 (from Andy) to get the right depth-of-focus at night. Some plates come out OK, others are completely blurred. Things work well during the day, and I did focus the camera on a stopped car at night, so I suspect it's a depth-of-focus issue? Currently my exposure is set to 1/2000 , iris is set to 85 - is it too high, too low or the reason mat be different? Can provide screenshots and captures, if helpful.
Thanks.

Pics are good.

Keep in mind that the more you zoom, the smaller the focus circle is. In my field of view, the focus number is a 20 point spread stopping a plate at left, center, and right, so you have to find the compromise balance.

Or it could be a bad setting and the camera isn't using your night focus.

Yes a high iris will reduce the focus area, so good to run it as low as you can

As mentioned by @wittaj cut Iris back to 50-60 max

When you zoom, your depth of field reduces accordingly. Like him, focused tightly to about a car length, I see focus range of about 10 points over approx 20-25ft of distance from when the car enters the view until it leaves due to the angle.
