Hi im installing hdcvi systems with video power baluns and i think it is easy way to install. The question is how do i know what video power balun uses fron the cat6 wires for power and video. And can someone tell me if it is better to use passive balun instead a video power with rj45.

How far can you go with cat6 so you dont have voltage drop? Are you using allways 3 pairs for power?
