9:30 in the morning in full sunlight....
I have a 5442 that is not switching out of B&W/infrared mode. Give it to me straight-- is it dying? I can take it, and I need to know....

Have you power cycled it ?

I have had my Z12 spotter get stuck in B/W during the day when it clearly should be in color.

I just did something new--- I sent a Hard Reboot command via UI3...
I've done that too, but be aware that all that does is a (forced) reboot of the Blue Iris computer, not a power cycle of the camera(s), which would probably be more helpful in this case. Sometimes each port can be power cycled through the web interface of the POE switch, or you can just truly power cycle the (entire) POE switch physically (unplug/re-plug).

I'll assume you've tried manually forcing it to day / night?

Have your power cycled it? Tried a factory reset?

You could try giving it some gentle mechanical persuasion when you force it out of night mode (tap the top of the camera).
