The best place is from a Milestone authorized partner like Wrightwood Surveillance. There's places that sell it cheaper but are likely not authorized partners.

I've seen in this forum that Milestone will be free for the Essential version so check first. I like the software so its a win either way.

As other members have mentioned the 8 camera version is free now. If you do have to go beyond this, I would suggest reaching out to the folks at Wrightwood. They might be a bit more expensive than other places you can buy the licenses, but still competitive and well worth it for the excellent support and service they provide.
