Best settings for the 5231 R-Z

Hi guys,

next week im gonna mount my 5231 RZ on the garage to overwatch my cars and a part of the street.
What is the best setting for this cam? Is it the best way to set everything on auto in stead of tweaking with brightness and contrast etc?
Is there a solution to keep the bugs and spiders away from the IR light?

And for the motion detect, is it better to let it rule by the camera or the Synology?

O, and the third Dahua is underway, the 4231 EM-AS from Empire

The solution to keep bugs away is to turn off the IR in the cam, and mount a separate IR illumination away from the cam.
Or provide enough white light, away from the cam.

Each install is different, thus ever situation will have it's own adjustments. In my case, my cams work fine adjusted just a tad off of default settings.
