Good afternoon all,
I've been looking at the site, advice, forum discussions since buying a couple of budget AliExpress WiFi PTZ cameras.
Got a few old AXIS cameras and been a user since 2005 at home and work. Most of this time with TinyCam Pro.
I'll do my best not to repeat requests , threads and enquirys.

Afraid not, I only delved into the cctv scene a few years ago, read the forums posts here, contacted the recommended forum Dahua rep Andy and got all my cams from him.

I also run BI as my NVR though not really an advanced or in depth BI users as many here.

Any experience with Chinese offerings?

Quite some years ago I started off with a diverse collection of IP cameras from Aliexpress - it was fun taking them apart and figuring out how they worked, a good learning exercise.
After a while, as the technology rapidly developed, I moved on to some of the bigger, more well-known manufacturers.
And enjoyed taking their programming apart too!
But that's a lot harder now - though not impossible - as the larger manufacturers have slowly developed better lockdown techniques in their firmware design..
