Fenderman, I read with interest your guidance for @Durzel in March of 2015. The suggestions seemed appropriate for what I'm experiencing. I made the following configurations changes:
. Set the camera's frame rates to 15fps
. Set the BI camera frame rates to 20fps
. Set the video record buffer to 10mb (is this the "network buffer" you mentioned?)
. Set the iFrames to the same as the camera frame rate
The behavior is much improved, but still "freezes" for about 1-second at the beginning of playback and then resumes smoothly. I could not locate an "object detect reject" in the motion settings.
