Anyone able to use BI with WINE on Linux? It almost works - some glitches that need debugging. Would be great if the developer supported this - I've heard there are more Linux server than MS out there.

I have not heard of anyone doing this. I am actually surprised it works at all. Since Blue Iris is developed and supported by just one guy, who probably doesn't know much about Linux, I would not expect this to change.
Like nayr said, you'd probably be better off choosing something designed to run on Linux.
