BI program keeps closing down on its own

Awsum140 suggested I 'check windows error logs, carefully' - that info is a bit over my head so I posted on here, then bp2008 said that this information doesn't really provide any clues. Should I give up on the error logs? It crashed twice last night but fortunately now I've got the auto-restart enabled it came back on again. I'd still like to solve it though.

As an experiment, I opened a web page using ie and left it running as well as BI. This morning I had two crash reports from BI (04.04 and 04.11, it always seems to happen during the night) but each time it was successfully restarted now I have the auto restart enabled. Interestingly, the ie webpage was still running, so I guess this establishes that the computer and windows were running fine throughout, and did not close down due to overheating or other hardware issue. We're going to have a go with the media creation tool later today.
