BI Remote Connection Status - unable to close console session

I have a PC running BI locally. Have been trying to connect to another PC running BI ( at a different location).
I have updated the remote PC's IP address, however, when i try to connect it gives a status message "unable to close console session".

The BI app works to view both local and remote camera at both locations.
So the issue seems to be with my local PC. I have attempted to fix the issue myself, but with out success.

Any thoughts or Ideas?

Have you read the chapter in BI's built-in "Help" file entitled "Remote Management" and followed certain configuration requirements?

~Update~

Solved!

Posting update so that other may find an answer to this particular issue with remote connections.
I persisted and found that a simple BI update caused the issue.
Both remote and local machine running exact same version of BI seemed to fixed the issue.

It's always the simple stuff, eh. :)

Surprisingly, very often it is.
When working with high tech, PC or microcontroller-based stuff, wireless, etc. we expect so often to the issue to be very complicated and it turns out to be mechanical...like a broken wire, corroded connector, etc....or as we would say in Navy Aviation: "The O.N. / O.F.F. switch was in the O.F.F. position." :highfive:
