BI won't close!

I click the X to close BI, click yes that I'm sure I want to close, it shuts down the cameras, the window disappears for a second, then it just re-opens right away.

Is this by design? How do I fix this?

Are you running any 3rd party software that may be starting it again? Like Blue Iris Tools from this forum?

If you are running the Watchdog feature in BI Tools then you need to disable it before you close Blue Iris. The function of the Watchdog in BIT is to detect if Blue Iris closes or crashes, then re-open it.
