Just as the title says, I started recording sometime yesterday, and have active working files that show that, however the timeline in BI won't show before 0200 this morning, what is causing this? I'm guessing it has something to do with database repair at 0200? What settings should I change>

Several issues I see.

Just leave it all in NEW. No reason to move from NEW to STORED on the same drive - all you are doing is using CPU% and wearing the drive out faster by moving stuff around. You only move to STORED if you have drives outside of the box like to a NAS.

You have only allocated 3GB for NEW and 3GB for Stored. That will be deleting stuff pretty quickly depending on your other settings.

You can set Alerts to 1GB

Ahh, I see - I misinterpreted that to be file size, I didn't want each file to be more than 3gb. Okay - I changed the settings. How does this look?

It's an 18TB drive:

Also... while I have you, I don't want to start a new thread for a basic question -

Is this set up properly? I will be out of town for two weeks, and want to set vacation mode on, I do not want vacation mode to deactivate. I'm not sure what Until Triggered means, and I want to say Temp Time is a timer that it's on for? Not sure why I don't have the option to set it indefinitely. For some reason there's a pause button up there? Is it all good?
