Blue Iris Clips showed up as a single clip yesterday, now show up as 100 different clips?

Looking at pre-recorded clips, yesterday there was a 8 hour clip (single clip) so it was easy for me to extract into a single mp4 what I needed (which was over multiple hours).
Now, today when I logged into BI I see over 100 clips for the same day in the past? Did something change? Did the system separate them overnight or something?
It is a HUGE pain to export them individually even if I multiselect the system keeps stopping the job.
Is there a way to export a single mp4 from multiple different clips???
 
Is it happening for every camera? If it's just one, is it a wireless camera? If wireless and the signal drops, every time the camera goes offline and then comes back online, a new clip is created.

only on certain cams, and yeah its dropping offline. really annoynig
