Hey everybody. New member here. I am caught up in the Q See situation and have been doing a lot of reading here trying to figure out what to do. There is so much great information but it can be overwhelming. I have about decided to try going with Blue Iris and have been looking at computers on Ebay. I came across a couple HP ENGAGE FLEX PRO computers that I have not seen mentioned here and they are cheaper than comparable HP Elite Desk computers . They appear to be used for retail settings to run cash registers. All the specs seem to work for what would be needed to run Blue Iris but I waned to get opinions here, Here is a link: HP Engage Flex Pro (I5-8500, 8th Gen, 8GB, 3.00GHZ, 256GB SSD + 1TBHDD) SFF | eBay . Am I missing something?
I currently have a QC 858 NVR and am running eight 3mp fixed QSee cameras (QCN8033B) and am thinking I would continue to use six of them and get a couple T5442T-ZE 4mp cameras from Andy to replace two. I would probably get a WD 4GB Purple drive.
