Since the last three BI5 updates my BI system quits recording and cameras quit updating at random times during the night. The Task Manager shows that the service is still running but it has "0" cpu utitilization. The service is there but nothing is happening. No errors in the log, nothing. I have not changed anything except the BI update. Any help would be appreciated.

I have restarted the system on three occasions when my cameras failed but the next night it fails again.
See the procedure outlined in the release notes. If that doesnt help, then revert back and email support.

As pointed out by @fenderman you need to go into the Settings and disable the service, close the BI GUI then reopen and enable the service, when prompted enter the password.

I had this problem till the 2nd to last update. I fixed it by reinstalling the service then setting a password as directed, it works fine for me now.

Glad I'm not alone, been having this myself since v5.2.5.x, just updated to 5.2.6.0, so fingers crossed.

It's looking like one of those updates that is going to take time for it to work on EVERYONE's system. I rolled back to 5.2.2.5 and it runs perfect....anything after that was a crap shoot on my I5 system. The I7 test system will run the 5.2.6.1 with the same cameras, I'm just not running them continuous record on it. I can only imagine what Ken goes through on one of these decoding updates
