ok so new to blue iris, I used to just use LiveCampro on iPad simply port forward to each cam and live view was great. Wanted recording capability, used an old Alienware laptop, installed blue iris and lan side all worked, setup remote view via wizard and while it works perfectly, my isp wrote to me saying I had " a potential multicast DNS vulnerability" and "my personal data could be at risk"

So is this a blue iris thing? Have I misconfigured something? I had a look at my router ( dlink dir-868) and can't see where blue iris upnp has changed anything i.e. No more ports are added to port forwarding?

Thanks in advance

Edit to correct router model

Ok think this is solved AND blue iris is innocent!

Going back to the time the vulnerability started, that was 1 day before I installed blue iris so i think it was the dlink dviewcam software, freebie that cam with the cameras.

I blocked all udp 5353 ports on my router just to be sure!
