hi,

Anyone else experiencing that with iOS 11.1 you can’t save a re or sing to your phone storage.

I’m getting the error “not compatible with photo album” or the app just crashes.

There was a BU iOS app update that came out today. I have no problems using that to save recordings.

I am already on 1.59.03 which is as of now the latest. But problem remains.

By the way is that a screenshot of an iOS 11.1 device you are posting? My signals and time are located on another position on my phone.

I might think it’s because of my blue iris version 4.5.1.6 and in combination with a more recent version of the mobile app.

I’ll test this tonight.

Don’t really want to update because everything is running stable now... let’s see.

Updated Blue Iris on server to latest version and iOS app still crashes whenever I want to save it to my phone.

Have you tried uninstalling the app then reinstalling?

I’m having the same problem. Uninstalled, reinstalled. iPhone X on iOS 11.1. After reinstalling it never asks for permission to save to the camera roll. It won’t even save pictures from BI.

I found that if I go to Settings->Privacy->Photos on my iPhone. There is no Blue Iris listed as being an app that has requested access to access photos. Of course there is no way to add an app that I know of.
