Blue Iris mobile not allowing me to shut off individual push notofications

Can someone please tell me why this is doing this. I tap the icon to run it off and it just immediately changes right back. I can shut off alerts, but then the system won't record alerts, so that's not an option. It's doing it on my wifes phone as well. I have gotten no love from BI tech support, they won't even respond even though I have "priority" troubleshooting.
