Blue iris not even touching intel hd graphics

upgraded to i7-7700k and hoped to see a massive difference on cpu usage
previously didnt have a cpu with hd graphics
getting 95-100 % usage on cpu
opened up gpu z and didnt see any significant usage on the gpu
running on windows 10
tried turning on gpu acceleration in the settings but no use

are you using the demo or did you enter the license key? Direct to disk does not work in the demo as well as HA

What cams? How many? Resolution and frame rate? How much memory?

yes i entered the key, no im accessing it locally
i have 11 cameras, mostly hikivision and swann cameras around 3 mp to 6 mp, have one 4k camera and 15-20 fps
have 16gb of ram available

Are you displaying in a 4k monitor or 1080p?
Are you running the latest Intel driver?
Don't use vpp in HA
 
The link which looney2ns posted shows where all these settings are, in case you are having trouble finding them. If you go through everything discussed in that link you should end up with an efficient system and you definitely should see GPU usage on the intel graphics adapter.

i just went through it and didnt see much difference, no where to check gpu usage on intel graphics software but i checked gpu z, getting around 25 percent usage
 
25% Intel GPU usage is quite normal when hardware acceleration it is working. I haven't seen it go much higher than that doing this job.

How many megapixels per second is your system pushing through (MP/s in Blue Iris status window)?

Is CPU usage still 95-100%?
