Blue iris PC help PLEASE!

Ah, I gotcha yeah it came with a 1T ssd and this is going to be a dedicated BI PC so that is more than enough for what it's going to be used for.
 
Insure you have your Ethernet plugged in as Windows install completes.
When it gets to the part where it wants you to create a MS account, unplug the cable, go back 1 step (arrow at upper left).
Then when you go forward again (next, right arrow), it'll allow you to create a local account (non-MS), then plug your Ethernet cable back in.

I did this with win 10 just 3 weeks ago and with Win 11 a week ago.

What's the purpose of this step?

To avoid the 'insistance' of using/creating a MS account, unless you want to have them knowing even more about you, your habits, taste, etc., sending info/back & forth.
It's your choice....

Buy a two bay Synology NAS. Easy Peasy. Add another hard drive and let the Synology backup your computers and store documents, etc
