Blue Iris Relative to HD monitoring?

Not having the BI software yet, I'm wondering if the BI program has any Hard Drive monitoring features such as the case with the "Sentinel" software program.

Witch is to say that if you want to monitor transmission speeds to your hard drive and the like (diagnostics etc.), we need to use the separate software?
