Blueiris questions

When getting alerts on blue iris is there a way or setting i can change as to the alert.

Like once i get a trigger can it go back and get say 30 seconds before the alert sets it off?

Im not recording full time but i can if thats what it takes.

the pre-trigger max is 25 seconds...
also you need to make sure your motion detection is sensitive enough so you dont miss anything.

Can you guide me to help me setup my settings for the motion detection?

Heres a clip of my camera im having trouble with.

At night the cars come down that road there. And there headlights trigger an alert. Is there anyway to lessen this and also get every other alert?

you will need to play with all the settings as well as zone crossing, see the videos posted on this site.
best thing to do is setup cloned cameras, set cameras that record to low threshold, and cameras that are for alerts to a higher threshold.
