Is it possible to set BlueIris software to react to Motion by instructing the camera to follow the motion during the motion? If not is there any other way to do this? Can the camera be instructed to constantly roam looking for motion?

Thanks for any help!

No blue iris cannot do tracking. Long ago there was third party tracking software for an older version of blue iris but it was unreliable. I spy claims to do this but i doubt it works well. PTZ is for the most part a gimmick. I believe there is a way to auto patrol with BI the issue is that i needs to stop at predefined points to capture any motion. For outdoor security you are way better off with a 2 or 3mp fixed wide angle (2.8mm) lens camera than ptz, you will miss lots of events if you have the camera running all over. For the price you paid for the one cam you can have three 3mp cameras that cover the entire area 24/7....
