Getting the hang of it

Hello,

yesterday i installed 3 x NVRs 7604 with PoE and 6 x 5MP EXIR DS-2CD2352-I (for each location two cams)

I have problems with two of the six cameras because they didn't stream the Main Stream with 5MP. I set the resolution correctly on the webserver but nothing happened.

When I tested the cameras everything was fine but after mounting the camera on the wall/celling and adjusting the correct angle and reconnecting to the network I received a blurred videostream.

In the other case the camera was installed and I received a perfect videostream. The costumer told me to adjust the angle. So I changed the angle by rotating the camera and after that I received the blurred stream. Changing the angle again doesn't help.

I restarted the camera, I uploaded the newest firmware, I switched between the different streaming formats but this issue is still there.

Is there a way to chance the focus or do you have any other ideas?

Regards Bastisn

The settings in "Video&Audio" on the NVR are the same for both Cams. But only one shows a perfect Videostream

Main-Stream
Resolution 2560x1920
Bitrate Variable
Quality ++++
FramRate 20
Max Bitrate 4096
Codes H264
H264+ Off

I will also try to check the camera settings directly on the IPCam.

But I'm wondering why the camera first shows a perfect stream and after mounting and adjusting I lost the perfect stream.

Is there a chance to remotly connect to the cameras (not the NVR)?
I activated the VirtualHost Function on the NRV. But i did not forwarded any
port to the cameras and i have no vpn connection to the router.

Than i can check the setting for Video&Audio and can make screenshots.

This would only be required if you are trying to connect from the internet.
Are you not in the same location as the NVR?

To connect directly to the camera, while you are connected to the same LAN as the NVR, simply click the link for the camera in the NVR web GUI, the right-hand column of the 'Camera Management' configuration page.

No i'm not in the same Network. This is a costum installation.

I know the way to use the virtual host when I'm on the same LAN as the NVR.

So I have to use screensharing to use the virtual host service from the NVR. Tomorrow I will try it.

ok so how can picture be blurred ? do you have a sample to show between good and "blurred" ? do you mean blurred moving objetcs ?

Maybe blurred it's not the right word for my problem. I think one of the two cameras shows a different Videostream with a lower quality.

Here are two pictures

up the bitrate on your substream, when your viewing a phone you wont get the full quality stream.

Both look low bitrate over compressed to me. So as @nayr said are you sure you are not watching a low bitrate/quality sub-stream ?

The settings for both cameras (all Profiles) on the NVR are the same.

So I want to check the settings directly on the cam
