Dahua PTZ has two independent CPUs inside. Main one is SOC in zoom module where there is all hardware like ARM CPU, encoder, Ethernet and sensor connected.
Second one is based on small PIC which you load MCU update files if they are available.
Both of them start independent when powered on. You can disconnect zoom module at all and camera will still do PTZ self test after power on.
To the end goal:
If camera does PTZ around move every time it means that there is a power issue. Bad PSU. Low voltage or cable damaged that delivers power in 99%. Firmware update will do nothing to help.
