Hi all,

Very quick question. I need to mount my cameras out from the wall. We have pipes running on one side of the property and if I mount the cameras flush with the wall then part of the view will be obstructed. I was hoping to use the Dahua brackets (PFB203W). But from the YouTube videos, it looks like these assume I will run cables out the back of the bracket, through the wall and into the house. I cannot do this, and I want to put the bracket on the wall, route the cable along the wall, up to the soffit, where I'll pull the cable in the NVR.

Can anyone tell me if I can route an PoE Ethernet cable out the side of a PFB203W, or do I need something else?

Thanks,
Chris

You can route the cable out of the side of that bracket. It has a cutout on the side.

Of course you can, you just need an appropriate cable seal
